A very sweet film that in many ways surpasses the original.  The exquisite CGI animation is not to be missed -- it is frightening how close computer special effects are to simulating real human actors.  

Pathos are key.

The moment when he meets his double.  

There's a kind of metaphysical, worn and weary feeling, and a shifting negotiation with reality.  who's naive, who isn't.  Buzz Lightyear's notion that there is a galaxy out there; Stinky Pete's notion that there's nowhere to go but the museum.  The kid's world is the best; how likely is that?  Doesn't really answer it's question... The real world is the best way to go.
