Austin Powers

Can't get over how two dimensional Mike Myers is as a performer.  such a narrow range of expressions that strain towards a rodent-like aren't i cuteness but get old real fast.  he had more expressivity and charisma in "Wayne's World."

The gags are often funny, some things catch one by surprise.

A real flaw in comic judgment were the conceptual jokes about letting certain scenes run past their conventional crescendo -- the result is just several seconds of painfully prolonged gags.

the laughter that goes on.  the nightmare of

how gorgeous Elizabeth Hurley is.  certain scenes she's dim, like when she starts to fall for Powers, but other times when she doesn't even seem to be trying she has a stunning elegance.  and i find myself smitten by those deep eyes floating upon that awkward nose.

i can't say i'm in the mood to watch the new one.

the fembots are cute

i found it jarring to be listening to songs like "I touch myself," instantly dated but not in a good way.
