Japanese Story (2003, Sue Brooks)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0304229/

Orientalized Bronze - the last third of JAPANESE STORY aka LOST IN TRANSLATION 2: HOW I MADE SUSHI OUT OF MY YELLOW LOVER got into some interesting emotional territory, and Toni Collete gets an individual silver for taking the material on (while taking her top off) as much as she did. But the interactions leading up to that point are more of the monotonal and monotonous cross-cultural push-pull over mispronounced words and stupid stereotypes that drives me nuts.

Medal Standings after two weeks: Hitchcockia - 3 Gold France - 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze, 1 Hot Blonde China - 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze U.S. - 2 Silver, 1 Bronze Hong Kong - 1 Silver, 1 Bronze Italy - 1 Gold U.K. - 1 Gold Canada - 1 Silver Australia - 1 Bronze Austria - 1 Bronze Sweden - 1 Tormented Bronze Thailand - 1 Bronze
